Gas Accounting Analyst

Primary Function

Responsible for performing accounting duties for the company’s gas processing plants.  Works under supervision in the preparation of all required internal and external revenue reports.  Works with field personnel, operators and purchasers to resolve errors and disputes.  Review and process incoming invoices, prepare account reconciliations as needed, and support other financial tasks.  Establish, settle, and close plant processing within Quorum TIPS.  Position requires participating in internal audits of processes, contracts, and financial results related to midstream accounting practices.  Distribute settlement statements and checks to required parties. Complete all journal entries required to accurately support the financials of the company.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Proficient with SAP software preferred.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Be results-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, set priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required

Two to five years of oil and gas accounting, preferably in gas plant accounting

Quorum experience preferred

SAP experience preferred
