Corporate Staff Accountant

Primary Function

Responsible for a variety of general ledger accounting functions.  Areas of focus include: reconciliations, monthly accruals and adjustments, fixed asset recognition and maintenance, sales tax review and filings, and more.  Responsible for unclaimed property reporting and remittance.  Assist in the financial consolidation and reporting for the company. Responsible for other general ledger duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of office procedures and techniques.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Excellent analytical and organization skills

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 
1-3 years oil and gas experience preferred
