Primary Function

This position is responsible for managing natural gas sales, scheduling and transportation activities for Mustang Fuel Corporation and its subsidiaries (“MFC”) and will oversee both physical and financial transactions. It will also lead marketing staff in all activities including coordination with all MFC operating groups, accounting, and other departments to execute functions of the marketing department.  Responsible for securing access to takeaway pipelines and sales from MFC operated wells. Preview existing MFC midstream contracts to ensure accurate monthly measurement statements and settlements. Optimize wellhead value by negotiating reduced fees and transport costs or adding processing value. Oversee negotiation and implementation of all contracts including purchase and sales, ISDA, NAESB agreements, transportation and other handling agreements. This will include review of all departmental purchase and sales contracts for deal accuracy including all terms and conditions, pricing and proper credit to ensure maximization of department profits.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.


Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including, Excel and Word


Knowledge of marketing trading platforms including ICE, ProphetX


Proficient in use of Quorum software

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Finance.

Minimum of five years progressive leadership experience

Minimum of eight years’ experience in gas sales, scheduling and contract negotiation and administration.
