Disruption of Service Notice:
On or about February 25, 2010, a disruption of service occurred on the downstream third-party natural gas liquids pipeline serving Mustang Gas Products, LLC’s (“Mustang”) Rodman, Ringwood, Spring Valley and Dover-Hennessey Gas Processing Plants (“Plants”).
As a result of the disruption, deliveries of natural gas liquids and natural gas to the Downstream pipelines connected to the Plants have been stopped and/or substantially curtailed. A copy of Mustang’s Force Majeure Notice letter can be found at this link.
If you have any questions concerning this notice, please do not hesitate to contact Gary Sump, Vice President, Gas Operations at (405) 748-9479 or e-mail address (gary.sump@mustangfuel.com).
Mustang will periodically update our website as to the status of the Force Majeure event.
In late 2002, Mustang acquired gas gathering and processing
assets covering producing areas in ten Oklahoma counties.
These assets were combined with Mustang’s existing
Spring Valley System in North Central Oklahoma to form Mustang
Gas Products, LLC, a subsidiary of Mustang Fuel Corporation.
Mustang Gas Products, LLC now owns
and operates three cryogenic gas facilities located
in Garfield, Major, and Caddo Counties in Oklahoma.
Mustang also owns a 54% interest and is the operator
of the Dover-Hennessey System in Kingfisher County,
Oklahoma. These systems gather gas through nearly 4,000
miles of pipeline to supply plants with a processing
capacity of 212 MMcf/day. These plants are currently
processing approximately 110 MMcf/day and producing
450,000 Gal/day of natural gas liquids. About 83,000
compression horsepower is required to gather and process
this gas.
This asset consolidation permitted Mustang to increase
operating efficiencies and expand prospecting opportunities
for additional gas supply to its systems. Long-standing
relationships with producers in its service areas has
allowed Mustang to successfully expand its proven service
methods to a ten county area.
Mustang has over 50 years of experience operating natural
gas midstream assets in Oklahoma. This extensive history
in addition to Mustang’s E&P activities in the
Anadarko Basin, provides Mustang with a fundamental understanding
of not only the issues faced by natural gas producers in
Oklahoma but also the geology of the region.
