Mustang Fuel Corporation is a privately held company headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, along with its wholly owned subsidiaries Mustang Gas Products, LLC, and Mustang Fuel Marketing Company. Mustang’s operations include gas and oil exploration and production, natural gas gathering and processing, and natural gas marketing.

Established as Westoc Oil & Gas Company in 1949 by E.C. Joullian II, Mustang entered the pipeline business to supply natural gas to an electric generating station near Mustang, Oklahoma. During the next five decades, Mustang evolved as one of the Mid-continent’s leading independent oil and gas companies.

Mustang Fuel Corporation began its exploration and production efforts in 1971 with a successful well completion in LeFlore County, Oklahoma. In the following thirty plus years Mustang has participated in over 1,800 wells across several states and is the current operator of over 200 properties. It also owns non-operated interests in more than 700 other properties and controls more than 50,000 net acres of undeveloped leasehold throughout its areas of interest.

Eagle Gas Marketing Company was formed in 1990 as a wholly owned marketing subsidiary of Mustang Fuel Corporation. Effective January 1, 2007, Eagle’s name was changed to Mustang Fuel Marketing Company. Mustang Fuel Marketing Company has fast become one of the most recognized gas marketing companies in the Mid-continent by providing personal service and competitive pricing to many independent gas producers with a focus on the Oklahoma Intrastate pipelines.

In late 2002, Mustang created a subsidiary, Mustang Gas Products, LLC, to acquire certain gas gathering and processing assets from ONEOK, Inc. The acquisition of these assets reemphasizes Mustang’s commitment to and successful history in the gas operations industry. Mustang Gas Products currently operates four gas processing facilities in Oklahoma and owns approximately 4,000 miles of gathering pipeline.
